Dialling Codes The dialling code for Belgrade for domestic calls is 011. The international dialling code for Serbia is 381. To dial Belgrade from abroad you must dial the appropriate international code, e.g. 00, followed by the dialling code for Serbia 381 and then the dialling code for the city (without the leading 0) 11. In order to dial abroad from Belgrade you must dial international code 00, followed by the dialling code of the country, the dialling code of the town (without 0), and then finally the subscriber's number. Public phones accept telephone cards (available from tobacconists, newsagents, post offices, and petrol stations). There are two types of telephone cards, Halo cards and HaloPlus cards (for international calls).
Halo and HaloPlus cards Halo card allows you to make local and international calls by inserting the card into the slot of all public phones. The price varies from 200 to 300 dinars (with 15 dinars gratis) depending on the number of units. HaloPlus card allows you to make only international calls which are cheaper than using Halo card. It costs 600 dinars and it can be used at any fixed or public phone. There are three types of HaloPlus cards: HaloPlus cards for ex-YU country: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and FYR of Macedonia. HaloPlus cards for European country: Austria, Greece, France, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
