Organisations and individuals providing accommodation services to foreigners against payment, as well as locals whom foreigners are visiting, must register the foreigners' stay with the local police department within 12 hours of the commencement of the accommodation arrangement, or of the visiting foreigner's arrival.

A foreigner organising his own accommodation must register his stay or change of address with the police the day after his arrival in Serbia, or within 24 hours of the change of place of residency or change of address.
