AC/DC this spring in Belgrade! The spectacular concert of the popular rock band AC/DC will take place at Partizan football stadium on May 26. Another 10,000 tickets for grandstands will be on sale since Monday, it was announced at yesterday’s press conference of “Komuna” in charge of organization. Numerous workers will arrive in thirty buses, while the equipment will be transported to Belgrade by 44 trucks. Members of the band will arrive in Belgrade on the day of the concert and will stay for only one day in Belgrade. They will bring their own catering, so their list of demands is quite short, precise and without any special special, except for 500 kilograms of ice. However, the real madness will start on the 10th EXIT Festival. The British bands “Arctic Monkeys” and “Madness”, the legends of electronic music “Kraftwerk” and the American musician “Moby” have already confirmed their concerts on the Main Stage. Fans of electronic music will really enjoy at the Fortress because the great starts such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and John Digweed are preparing a four-day party on the Dance Arena. We should also mention concerts of the popular Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias, the band “Slipknot”, Santana, David Byrne (the former frontman of the band “Talking Heads”), an Irish singer Sinead O’Connor famous for the song “Nothing Compares 2 U”. The band “Simply Red” will perform at Kalemegdan Fortress in late June and this concert should not be missed! Organizers of the concerts in neighboring countries are also busy this year- after Beyonce, the band U2 will perform in Zagreb and all 63,000 tickets have already been sold out in one day, so it has been speculated that Bono Vox and the band will hold another concert at the Maksimir Stadium. “The Killers” will play in Ljubljana, Merylin Menson will perform in Hungary, “Placebo” in Greece, while Santana will be the star of the Bestfestibal in Romania. |
